The number of Latinos living in the U.S. is growing every day and it is a difficult trend to change, especially because Latin American countries do not offer the opportunities or stability necessary for capable people to develop themselves. Today, Latinos are the largest minority in the American population, with nearly 17% of the total population, and all of them have ties to their families, to whom they send packages and parcels between one and 12 times a year, generating a market of close to USD$100 million annually. This market is somewhat disorganized at its origin, which could be considerably improved with the use of information technologies.
