Principle 3: You are not always where you want to be, but you are always where you need to be

  • Negative situations help you develop the skills to get out of them.

  • Take it more like a spiritual principle of learning to grow.

Reflection:

Life seems just like a consecutive challenge, one after the other, that hardly let us feel like we got it all solved, doesn't it? Difficult situations have no end. The question to ask ourselves here is if we are addressing this situation correctly so I can move on. Basically, it is a matter of taking responsibility, learning, and growing.

For example, if you don't like your financial situation right now, are you taking the right steps to overcome the issue? Have you set the budget and stuck to it? If you do not apply the lessons learned from your own experience you are not doing your part to solve the problem, then you feel and are stuck.

Paying attention to what you are not doing is the key underlying this principle. We always know what needs to be done, our consciousness is so powerful in that regard. We need the time to meditate, become aware of the situation and act upon it.

(This principle is part of the 50 principles that Ryan Blair shares in his Altercall course).
