And now what if I've done everything?

Getting to the point where we feel and believe we have done everything is a lie. The only point at which everything has already been done is immediately after dying. Meanwhile, the time difference existing between now and death is a space of opportunity for things to be done. Creativity and pressure might be the inputs needed to put us into action. Are we waiting for someone to fix the situation for us?

While it is true that at this point or time there is a high level of frustration, anxiety, desperation, and hopelessness, there is still a window of opportunity to continue. Do other things, go further, continue creating to continue moving forward. It may be that it is necessary to discover many other ways of how things are not done to find the right way. What has not been done, what has not been evacuated? If there is time, there is an opportunity to continue learning and moving forward.

The alternative to the above would be the last thing, dying. And by our survival instinct, it is more than likely this won't happen. So it is better to continue working and solve problems promptly. Yes, all this merits an expansion in the capacity for self-regulation to remain focused on the task at hand and not allow the stress to take over us.

We must continue being the protagonists of our lives and see this as an opportunity to grow and take over what is due to us in life. It is time to make a difference. In times like this we become protagonists of our story and separate ourselves from the rest. Make our own path.

Do we want to be the protagonists of our lives and prove to ourselves that we can manage it? The victim behavior expects a rescue or consolation prize for coming so far.

The next question would be, to what extent should we continue fighting ? The closest answer to this question comes from the teachings of John Maxwell from his book The 15 Indispensable Laws of Growth when he explains the Law of the Ladder.

The essential idea of this Law is that everyone can grow to the point that their own character allows them to. It is a matter of character, that is, of habits engraved in our unconscious that will allow us to continue doing things no matter what happens in our environment. It is simply the way we operate automatically. Therefore, training character is one of the best investments that can be made because tribulation is guaranteed for all in this life.

Now, there are limits that each person establishes in their life, which are not negotiable. Those are her values, for example, honesty, integrity, transparency among others. Also, time with family, friends and staying healthy can come into play here. In the end we must move forward, overcome our anger, and as long as there is life we must keep our heads on our shoulders and move forward, as long as we do not come into conflict with those things that are really important and that give our life meaning, foundations and a solid structure.

The reflection I invite you to make is about the type of character that supports you. How do you operate automatically under tough circumstances? That is an opportunity for personal growth that will allow you to expand and take advantage of your potential.
